Why test cat food for mercury?

We were inspired by our cat, Luna. She’s part of the family, and like our kids, we love and protect her. After learning about heavy metal problems in cat foods, we started Pure Cravings with the purpose to protect cats from toxins. Our picky Luna loves fish, but mercury levels vary widely. So, we created a new standard in cat food, testing every single tuna and salmon, and every catch of sardines and mackerel to a strict mercury limit of 0.07 ppm.
