Why are the feeding guides different between varieties?

We base our feeding guides on the calories and nutritional profile of each variety. Because each variety has different ingredients and nutritional content, we adjust our feeding guidelines accordingly. These are available to view on each product page on the can label images (under the calorie content).

We verify the nutrition profiles and calorie content on a regular basis to ensure your cat is getting the nutrients it needs to thrive, but the feeding guidelines we give are just that, guidelines, so always be sure to consult your veterinarian if you have specific questions regarding your cat’s health and nutrition.
